Get Set For Work
The Get Set for Work program offers young people an individualised service to maintain an education, participate in quality training and improve employment prospects.
Support includes one-on-one assistance and group activities that assist with skill development and goal setting and helps build effective networks in the community.
If you are aged between 15-19 years old, have left school and would like assistance to develop skills for employment, contact our Youth Officer.
Our Youth Officer will discuss training options such as:
- Individual Support
- Basic First Aid
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- Construction White Card
- Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways
We’ll also help with:
- Career Advice
- Work Experience
- Skills Development
- Goal Setting
Get Set for Work operates at IMPACT Community Services three days per week between 9am - 3pm. Fees, including training co-contributions, are paid by Skilling Queenslanders for Work program. Please contact Deniese on 4153 4233 to learn more.
