This Community Choir sure has ability, and they certainly won't let their disability get in the way. The IMPACT Community Choir began in 2011 and now consists of more than 40 people with a disability who sure love to sing.
Choir members meet every Wednesday at IMPACT to rehearse and learn new songs, or they head out to perform at venues such as aged care facilities, community groups and events. Community organisations are welcome to attend and bring their clients along. Members from Community Lifestyle Support, Endeavour, Carinbundi and YMCA already have members who are regularly involved in rehearsals and performances.
The Choir is supported by wonderful volunteers and support staff who bring their own music accompaniment, expertise and love of music to assist each week.
