About the Position

IMPACT Community Services is currently recruiting 2 x Container Refund Point (CRP) Sorters to join our teams at Qunaba and Uni Drive. These roles are casual positions with regular recurring Saturday shifts. As CRP Sorters, you will work as part of a team to sort and process products correctly for the Container Refund Scheme (CRS), maintain a safe and clean workplace, and ensure productive operations.

This position involves operating the online CRP system, providing excellent customer service, and performing various manual tasks to keep the workplace efficient and orderly. Given the physical nature of this role, it requires strong numeracy skills.

To make a difference in this role, you will have:

  • Strong numeracy skills to accurately and quickly count products
  • Experience in manual handling
  • Proficiency in data entry using a computer
  • Track record in providing face-to-face customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge and adherence to Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) practices
  • Experience operating a forklift in a busy environment (if licenced)
