About the traineeship
If you like to work outdoors and undertake training as part of an energetic team to manage the re-invigoration of important environmental sites in the Bundaberg area, this is the job for you.
The traineeship is 22 weeks of full-time paid work (76 hours per fortnight over 9 days). You will also complete a Certificate I in Conservation and Ecosystem Management. Traineeship wages apply and depend upon your level of schooling and the number of years out of school (from $363 to $652 per week).
We have 10 traineeships available as part of Skilling Queenslanders for Work. The team works closely with Bundaberg Regional Council across different environmental sites in the local and regional area. You will complete projects such as:

The Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) Work Skills Traineeship project is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government.
If you have completed another SQW project, it's unlikely you will be successful with this application, but we can request the Department to consider your circumstances on a case by case basis, so come along to our information session.
