IMPACT is looking for an experienced and motivated Manager to oversee our Container Refund Programs to drive operations, business growth, compliance, and high-quality service delivery.
About the role
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee the daily operations of our Container Refund Programs, ensuring efficiency across logistics, staffing, customer experience, and compliance.
From managing teams to building community partnerships and driving business growth, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, sustainable services.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Lead and support the team while managing daily staffing and performance
- Oversee operations across collection, processing and logistics
- Build community relationships to drive participation and growth
- Monitor budgets, KPIs and performance outcomes
- Ensure safety, compliance and smooth service delivery

About you
- You are an experienced and confident leader with a strong background in operations, logistics or service delivery. You bring a hands-on approach to leadership, supporting your team to perform at their best while driving accountability, efficiency and a positive workplace culture.
- Be highly organised and results-driven, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Competent in managing competing priorities, you use data and insight to make informed decisions, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensure safe, compliant and high-quality service delivery.
What you'll bring:
- Formal qualifications or experience in leadership, management, or business
- Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- High-level customer service capability
- Experience developing and reviewing operational and WH&S policies
