People & Culture Coordinator - Staffing

People & Culture team 

IMPACT has over 200 staff across the Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Discovery Coast and South Burnett regions, as well as working remotely. Our People & Culture team provides services to staff, leaders, external applicants and volunteers.  We are small, influential team and the People & Culture Coordinator -Staffing is a newly created role.

We are looking for a person who:

Enjoys providing operational Human Resources support including:

  • Preparing people documentation/information for review and distribution 
  • Coordinating and track on-boarding and off-boarding of staff and volunteers
  • Recruiting, assisting with leaders with internal and external recruitment   
  • Providing customer service to employees, leaders, external applicants  
  • Maintaining people data and systems 
  • Supporting our reward and recognition processes, eg birthday bonus day, staff anniversaries 

You will have:

  • A minimum of Certificate III in Human Resources/Business Administration or related field 
  • A track record in maintaining confidentiality and privacy 
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry and processing information 
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Recent experience in supporting multiple customers and/or teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely customer service by prioritising and organising workflows to meet time-frames

In addition to the above selection criteria, the following would be well regarded:

  • End-to-end recruitment and/or payroll experience
  • A working knowledge of Awards/employment legislation
