Recycling & Collections Operations Manager

About the role

As the Recycling & Collections (R&C) Operations Manager, on a daily basis you will:

  • Manage the operations of our facility at University Drive, Bundaberg
  • Coordinate the delivery of programs to the Bundaberg Regional Council, COEX and for the Drum Muster and Agri Bags
  • Lead staff and employees with a disability
  • Coordinate work schedules, preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, stock, consumable products and logistics to and from suppliers and customers
  • Manage to a budget and quality standards

About you 

To enjoy this role, you will have experience in:

  • Waste management and/or the recycling industry
  • Delivering on time, on budget and to required standards
  • Staff management and rostering
  • Conducting complex negotiations and influencing people at all levels
  • Stock and quality control
  • Managing maintenance schedules
  • Meeting WH&S requirements for teams in a heavy machinery or industrial environment
  • Business management, business development and sales

To be successful, you will have great skills in:

  • Interpersonal communication
  • Delivering multiple tasks
  • Microsoft Office applications
  • Communicating with a wide variety of people

Prior to commencement with IMPACT we require a current:

  •  Blue Card
  • Yellow Card OR NDIS Worker Screening check
