What happens when passionate changemakers from around the world come together? Well, I’m about to find out.

In just a few days, I’ll be heading to Italy for the Social Enterprise Open Camp, an intensive residential camp that brings together leaders and innovators from around the world committed to creating meaningful social change.

This year’s theme, “Togetherness – Cultivating Systemic Change,” couldn’t be more relevant. It’s about moving beyond isolated efforts and working collectively to address the root causes of social challenges.

The program is designed to spark collaboration through immersive workshops, real-world case studies, and conversations that tackle some of the world’s most complex issues.

For me, this isn’t just a trip; it’s an opportunity to learn, connect, and discover new ways to amplify impact in our communities.

I’m excited to engage with global thinkers, share experiences, and bring back insights that can strengthen the work we do here in Australia, and in particular, our local community right here in Bundaberg and surrounds.

This experience has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Amplify Alliance, who awarded me a scholarship to attend.

Their commitment to empowering leaders and building networks that drive social innovation is inspiring, and I’m deeply grateful for their belief and support of the work that we do in regional communities.

As I prepare for this adventure, I’m looking forward to the conversations ahead and the chance to contribute to a global dialogue on creating positive change.
