Course Overview

This nationally recognised qualification is suited to individuals who want to develop their skills in a real workplace environment. The course provides an introduction to key workplace skills and knowledge, helping you develop an understanding of the business environment. Students complete a range of simple tasks under close supervision.

Students attend eight days of face-to-face training, delivered throughout your time in the workplace. This training combines theory, practical activities, and assessments to support your on-the-job learning.

  • Access to a laptop or desktop with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An email account.
  • Internet to access the eLearning platform where you will find learning materials and submit your work.
  • A Unique Student Identifier (USI) number.
  • All students are required to complete surveys during their course and within three months of completing or discontinuing the qualification.
