Last updated: 22/11/2021

The Queensland Government issued a health directive on November 10, 2021 for workers in a health care setting.

What this means for IMPACT Community Services is that we need to ensure our staff, volunteers and contractors who enter our workplaces have the prescribed number of doses of a COVID-19 vaccine by December 15, 2021.

Currently, that is two doses of an Australian Government recognised vaccine. For some workers this may also include the 6-month booster shot in the future.

This does not apply to clients and participants - they can continue to attend IMPACT services and programs unvaccinated at this time.

Workers will be asked to show proof of vaccination status by showing:

• A Covid-19 digital vaccination certificate which is available through their Medicare account and can be shown on a smartphone

OR

• An immunisation history statement from the Australian Immunisation Register or General Practitioner

We will record that we have sighted your proof of vaccination in a secure and confidential location.
