IMPACT Community Services Health Precinct

Impact Community Health Service (ICHS) operates out of IMPACT Community Services Health Precinct, located at 2 Rafting Ground Road Agnes Water.

Our Health Precinct provides a range of health services through co-located and visiting health providers, along with Nursing and Allied Health Services provided by ICHS.

Who We Are

IMPACT Community Health Service (ICHS) is operated by IMPACT Community Services which has three pillars of operation – LIVE (Support and Health), GROW (Training) and PROSPER (Employment and Social Enterprises). 

Our services are provided under the LIVE pillar providing primary health care.

Our free FLUVAX is available to:

  • All people aged over 65 years;
  • Children aged 6 months – under 5years;
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People Aged  5 years – under 65yrs;
  • All pregnant women; and
  • Individuals with medical conditions that predispose them to severe influenza.
  • Along with Fluvax, Pip can vaccinate for Pneumovax, Zostavax and Childhood Immunisations.

Rural Primary Health Services

Our program is federally funded by the Primary Health Network (PHN) to provide community nursing and allied health services in the Discovery Coast region

Supporting Local Health Services

We support the attraction and retention of health services to our region, by offering our facility for use by other health providers to deliver their service locally.

Pop Up Care Clinic to run over Easter long weekend in Agnes Water

“Residents and visitors to our beautiful region will be able to seek treatment for issues such as possible sprains or broken bones, cuts requiring stitches, minor ear or eye problems, burns and scalds and minor illnesses such as fever, infections and rashes.”

IMPACT exploring pop-up urgent care clinic for Discovery Coast

We are currently exploring the possibility of offering a pop-up urgent care walk in clinic in Agnes Water during the Easter school holidays. We will keep you informed of our progress toward making this a reality. 

Urgent care clinics provide care to patients who have an urgent medical (injury/illness) requirement that is not a life-threatening emergency, for example sprains, wounds, sutures, minor breaks and insect or animal bites.
