Course Overview

Train face-to-face with industry professionals at IMPACT Community Services and build real-world skills in our fully equipped simulated ward environment. This nationally recognised qualification prepares you to provide person-centred support to people with disability in community, home, and residential settings.

You’ll complete practical assessments and 120 hours of vocational placement, giving you the experience and knowledge to grow your career in roles like disability support worker, personal care assistant, community support worker, and respite care worker.

  • Attend pre-enrolment information session and an interview
  • Have technology to access course materials and submit assessments
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain a National Police Check, an NDIS Screening Card, a Blue Card, and a Unique Student Identifier (USI)
  • All students are required to complete surveys during their course and within three months of completing or discontinuing the qualification
