Gain the confidence and skills to respond effectively in emergency situations with HLTAID011 Provide First Aid, including HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). This nationally recognised course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to provide a first aid response to a casualty until professional medical assistance arrives.
Suitable for workplace requirements, community volunteers, parents, carers, sporting groups, and members of the public, the course covers the management of a range of medical emergencies, injuries, and incidents that may occur at home, in the workplace, or in the community.
Participants will learn through a combination of practical demonstrations, hands-on activities, and scenario-based training. Flexible training options are available, allowing learners to complete the knowledge component online prior to attending a face-to-face practical assessment day or complete all training and assessment onsite.
This course meets industry requirements and provides valuable life-saving skills that can make a difference when it matters most.

To successfully complete these courses, participants must demonstrate the skills required by the training package, including performing CPR on an adult manikin placed on the floor for a minimum of 2 minutes and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
We welcome participants of all abilities to attend this training. Where all competency requirements cannot be demonstrated, a Record of Attendance or Record of Participation may be issued instead of a Statement of Attainment.

The cost of this course is $110 for returning students and $159 for new students (includes the learner guide).
