Materials
Assessments are completed on the computer. We provide access to computers and internet to complete assessments, however students are encourgaed to have their own device to review learning materials at home
Students are required to wear black shirts, black pants or skirt, and fully enclosed non-slip shoes. All items of clothing worn throughout the course must be suitable for the Hospitality work environment, meaning they are clean (hygenic), in-tact (without rips, holes or tears) and presentable.
Student shirts are available for purchase. Depending on eligibility, funding assistance may cover the cost of the shirt.
Do we need computer skills to complete this course?
You do not require a high level of computer skills to complete the course, however you will need a base level of understanding to navigate basic word processing, website navigation and typing.
You will also need access to your own email account.
Before commencing the units of your course, our Student Support team will provide guidance in the navigation and use of the eLearning website to access your course, learning materials and submit assessments. For eligible students, additional assistance may be available.
If you aren’t confident or are unsure if your computer skills are good enough to complete the course, contact us to discuss your circumstances. Usually, even with a low-level of computer literacy students are able to complete the course by spending a bit of time familiarising themselves with the processes, and following our step-by-step guides, videos and available learning links.
