New Image Laundry is a commercial laundry service with a mission. As a social enterprise of IMPACT Community Services, it provides high-quality laundry solutions to businesses across Bundaberg and the Wide Bay-Burnett region, while creating meaningful employment for people facing barriers to work.

Material Recycling Facility

Turning Waste into Opportunity

Our Material Recycling Facility (MRF) is where sustainability meets social impact. Operated by IMPACT in partnership with local councils, the MRF processes recyclable materials from across the region - diverting waste from landfill and creating jobs for people with disability.

What We Do:

  • Sort and process recyclable materials from kerbside collections
  • Promote environmental education and community awareness
  • Provide supported employment for NDIS participants and others with barriers to mainstream work

Together, We Move towards a future inclusive of all. This begins by acknowledging our presence on the lands of Aboriginal communities. IMPACT operates on the unceded lands of the Butchulla, Gureng Gureng, Wakka Wakka, Kabi Kabi, Wulli Wulli, Taribelang, Gurang and Byali. IMPACT has over 45 years of serving our communities and we are humbled in the presence of First Nations Peoples who share an ongoing connection to these lands for over 65,000 years. We are truly grateful to share and learn from their collective experiences. We respectfully live upon these lands, with good faith and a commitment to ongoing learning, sharing, caring and respecting these lands, the peoples, and the environment, together in humility.
