Our Transition to Work program is designed to assist young people aged 15 – 24 gain the skills they need to enter the workforce. From resume writing to interview tips, dressing appropriately and resilience building workshops, our TtW Youth Coaches are the experts in assisting our community’s youth into employment. Our TtW Youth Coaches maintain trusted relationships with a number of employers in the region and work with them to find the right person for the job.

IMPACT’s Registered Training Organisation (Code: 0115) offers courses in high-demand sectors for the Bundaberg region, with funding available for eligible participants. The Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability, or Home & Community Care) prepares students for work in the Aged Care, Home Care and Disability Support areas. Students complete a maximum of 13 weeks of theory and up to six weeks of on-the-job practical assessment. The Certificate III in Hospitality trains students about health and safety, food preparation and presentation, teaches barista-quality coffee skills and serving tips. Many of our graduates find employment opportunities before graduating.

The jobactive team works closely with Government organisations such as Centrelink to assist job seekers in finding and maintaining employment, or help those looking for a new career into new avenues through job trainer.
