Early Years Team Leader - Bundaberg

About the role

IMPACT Community Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Team Leader to guide our Early Years team in delivering early intervention programs that support families with young children across Bundaberg.

In this dynamic leadership role, you’ll provide coaching and direction to staff, oversee program delivery, and ensure compliance with operational guidelines and key performance indicators. You’ll also build strong community partnerships and deliver evidence-based programs that improve developmental outcomes for children aged 0–12.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and support the Early Years team
  • Coordinate program meetings and reporting
  • Ensure achievement of KPIs across programs including Positive Start, PELD, and Foundations for Life
  • Develop and deliver evidence-based programs
  • Build and maintain community networks
  • Support families using best-practice approaches
  • Manage team resources and assist with escalated issues

What We're Looking For:

  • Certificate IV in Community Services or similar qualification (desirable)
  • Experience working with children and families in community settings
  • Strong understanding of child development and early intervention strategies
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organisational abilities
  • Commitment to child safety and mandatory reporting obligations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client database systems
  • Knowledge of local support services
