 About the opportunity

We are looking for a full-time Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team in Bundaberg. This role provides workflow, administrative and coordination support to assist the effective operation of the Marcomms (Marketing & Communications) function.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

  • Coordinate and manage marketing and communications requests through the ticketing system, ensuring accurate records, approvals, documentation, deadlines, and project status updates are maintained.
  • Support the preparation and quality assurance of communication materials, including gathering requirements, drafting content, and reviewing materials for accuracy, completeness, and brand compliance.
  • Facilitate project delivery and stakeholder coordination by managing supplier information, quotes, approvals, follow-up actions, and escalating issues that may impact progress.
  • Provide digital and administrative support across websites, email, social media, reporting, and online platforms, ensuring content, records, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Support Marcomms leadership through effective record management and reporting, including preparing summaries, meeting notes, action lists, reporting updates, and maintaining organised digital files and resources.
  • Coordinate grants, submissions, reporting, acquittals and events, managing timelines, approvals, bookings, stakeholder requirements, and supporting documentation to ensure successful delivery.
  • Fostering positive relationships while ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and quality outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Project Administration, Event Management, or a related field (would be desirable)
  • Strong organisational, time management and workflow coordination skills, with the ability to manage priorities, deadlines, approvals, multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Proficient digital and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, document management, version control, and ticketing or task tracking systems.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to prepare professional content and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate documentation, evidence, approvals and follow-up tasks for grants, submissions, acquittals and organisational reporting
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, digital tools, website CMS platforms (such as WordPress), and content calendars
