IMPACT Community Services is proud to support local jobseekers and employers under the Australian Government’s new disability employment program, Inclusive Employment Australia, commencing 1 November 2025.
As part of the national CoAct network, IMPACT Community Services deliver tailored, person-centred employment services for people with disability, injury or health conditions – to create meaningful and sustainable employment outcomes in the Gladstone and Fraser Coast communities.
Replacing the current Disability Employment Services (DES) program, Inclusive Employment Australia represents a shift toward a more personalised, community-focused approach championing choice and control for jobseekers and enhancing engagement with local employers to drive inclusive hiring practices.
As Australia’s leading network of not-for-profit community service providers, CoAct was awarded delivery of the Inclusive Employment Australia contract nationally, ensuring consistent, community-driven employment support across Australia with CoAct’s broad national reach.
Simon Brown, CoAct CEO, said CoAct’s partnership approach delivers a co-designed, person-centred model that offers flexible and intensive support, specialised staff, and smart technology to improve both jobseeker and employer experiences.
“Our co-designed model brings together deep local knowledge, specialist expertise, and lived experience to deliver high-quality services tailored to the diverse needs of jobseekers and employers across Australia,” Mr Brown said.
“As our network continues to grow, so does our shared vision of building communities where everyone can reach their potential through meaningful and sustainable work.”
Managing Director Tanya O’Shea said IMPACT Community Services is proud to be part of the CoAct network to deliver disability employment services, supporting the Gladstone and Fraser Coast communities through the Inclusive Employment Australia program from November.
“At IMPACT Community Services, improving lives is at the heart of everything we do and we’re excited to be able to deliver disability employment services to the Gladstone and Fraser Coast communities,” Mrs O’Shea said.
“We work together with CoAct to create opportunities for individuals to build skills, confidence and find meaningful work.
“We look forward to supporting more people to thrive through inclusive and empowering employment pathways.”
Together with CoAct, IMPACT Community Services looks forward to continuing its mission of empowering people with disability to achieve their employment goals, while working closely with local employers to build more inclusive, diverse, and resilient workplaces in its communities.
