Woodgate’s Crystal Harris is the winner of IMPACT Community Services’ January Containers for Change $50 draw.
“It’s amazing, I can’t believe it,” a delighted Crystal said.
“We’ve always had great service there and find it so easy to offload our containers.”
Crystal has been dropping off her containers at IMPACT’s Container Refund Point, on University Drive, since it opened in 2018.
“It’s so easy to use,” she said.
“You can get in and out with really quick service.”
She said since Covid she had switched from getting cash for her containers to being paid directly into her own Containers for Change account.
Participants can get 10 cents for every eligible container dropped off at the CRP paid straight into their account.
“It’s a great system,” Crystal said.
“I drop containers off every couple of months.”
If you'd like to join Crystal in the grinner's circle, then make sure you get your entry into February’s monthly draw.
Each month IMPACT runs a $50 draw for its Containers for Change participants. Crystal is our third winner.
To enter, simply fill in a form at the Container Refund Point when you’re dropping off your bottles and place your entry in the box.
Entries are only open to those who drop containers at the refund point and only one entry per drop-off.
