Creating Safer Futures for Young People

The YSVAP project brings together young people, community organisations, service providers and local leaders to help prevent youth sexual violence and abuse in the Bundaberg region. Through education, awareness, collaboration and youth-led initiatives, we are working towards a safer and more supportive community for all young people.

If you, a young person, or someone you know is affected by sexual violence, abuse, bullying, coercive behaviour, or concerns about personal safety, support is available.

1800RESPECT 1800 737 732 24/7 support for people impacted by sexual assault, domestic violence and abuse. Kids Helpline 1800 55 1800 Free confidential counselling and support for young people aged 5 to 25.

The Bundaberg YSVAP initiative supports community-led action that promotes safe and healthy relationships, strengthens online and personal safety, and empowers young people to become leaders within their community.
