Co-Contribution Fees

Last updated: November 13, 2025

If you're enrolling in a government-subsidised course, you're required to pay a small co-contribution fee toward your training. The amount depends on your funding stream. Please refer to the relevant section below for more details:

Career Start - General Training Pathway

Your course is supported by the Queensland Government, which means most of the cost is covered. You’ll only need to pay a small co-contribution fee. This fee can be paid by you, your employer, a family member, a friend, or another organisation. Some programs may cover the full fee for you. However, IMPACT Community Services is not able to pay or waive this fee.

Co-contribution fees per unit:

Fees are charged per unit of competency. If you’re eligible for a credit transfer or gap training for a unit, you won’t be charged for that unit, and your total fee will be reduced.

See the table below for a breakdown of unit fees.
