National Disability Insurance Scheme
The NDIS provides Australians under the age of 65 who have a permanent and significant disability with the reasonable and necessary support they need to enjoy life. Under the NDIS, families and carers will have access to the help they need to support people with disability so they can participate in a life filled with community engagement and employment opportunities.
Helping NDIS participants build their independence is paramount. We want every one of our participants to experience the best life has to offer throughout their IMPACT journey. By providing opportunities through individual or group support, we encourage participants to be independent, participate in the community and build life skills.
Our support services promote choice and control and are tailored to suit the participant’s specific needs. Our aim is to help people engage with the community and educational activities, to build independence and overall confidence. IMPACT support staff work closely with participants and their families, carers and supporters towards the ideal outcome. Our programs are governed under the NDIS quality safeguards.
NDIS Funding
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. It means the participant and their family gets to make decisions about tailored supports and who delivers them.
