About the Position
The Finance Business Partner at IMPACT Community Services is a strategic, full-time role responsible for providing critical financial insights and data-driven analysis to support various organisational departments. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this position ensures accurate financial reporting, manages grant funding acquittals, and collaborates with business partners to align financial goals with organisational objectives. Key responsibilities include preparing monthly and annual financial reports, conducting profitability analyses, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of the annual budget. This on-site position requires a proactive approach to financial leadership, coaching, and mentoring within the finance team to foster continuous improvement and professional development.
To make a difference in this role, you will have experience in the following:
- Completion of month-end and year-end processes, and preparation of monthly financial reports and dashboards.
- Analysing and explaining financial and statistical data to internal stakeholders.
- Coaching and mentoring team members and delivering customer service to business partners.
- Meeting statutory financial requirements and implementing internal controls.
